Melanie Janine Brown MBE, born 29th May 1975, known as ‘Scary Spice’ was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire and joined the group in 1994. / Mel B released two solo albums ‘Hot’ and ‘L.A State Of Mind’ as well as the hit singles, ‘Tell Me’, ‘Feels So Good’ and the UK Number One ‘I Want You Back’ featuring Missy Elliott. / Mel B has established herself as a TV personality and talent-show judge in the UK, Australia and the U.S. She competed in the fifth season of the American dance-competition series ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finishing in second place. Between 2011 and 2016, she served as a guest and main judge on the Australian and British versions of The X Factor. She also co-presented the Australian version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ for one Season. Mel B judged on America’s Got Talent, The Voice Kids Australia and The Masked Singer Australia. / In May 2022 Mel B was awarded an MBE in the Royal Honors list for services to domestic violence victims as a patron of Women’s Aid
